The
manager did a 'Cloughie' and took
the week end off and the end
result was our 3rd defeat in a
row.
From
what I hear Lewes who were bottom
with 5 defeats in 5 games
struggled initially but Hassocks
couldn't score as they mounted
early pressure.
The
best chance fell to Alex Ternouth
who somehow failed to score from a
corner when 'free' only 6 yards
out.
Jamie
Hillwood did get the ball in
the back of the net but the
'Assistant Referee'
from Lewes B deemed him to be
offside.
As
the game wore on Lewes B came more
into the game and with 15 minutes
left they scored the only goal.
Another
disappointing defeat and improved
performances are definitely
required.
