Hassocks
travelled to their East Sussex
opponents with seven players
unavailable and got a great
result.
And if it hadn't been for
two errors from
the father and son connection of
Steve Spies-Joel Harding they may
have even won.
A
really gusty performance from a
depleted side gained the Robins a
great point. Hastings were the
better team on the day but Hassocks'
never say die attitude clawed them
back from 3-1 down to finish
3-3!
Hastings
themselves were "boosted by 5
first teamers from the week
before" (Hastings United website)
so they must have been disappointed with the
result.
Goals
from Matt Amos, Lee Cooke, and Joe Fernley gave
Hassocks a share of the spoils.
