In tribute
to retiring Hassocks manager Dave John, a number
of the first team players lead by 'keeper Joel
Harding decided to recreate three famous Johnsy
moments from his time at the club:
1. Sleeping during the game and half-time
2. Against Arundel at home one of the players
offered Johnsy onto the pitch for a fight,
Johnsy nearly smashed the gate of it's hinges by
using his belly, perhaps as a warning shot to
the player!
3. After the Selsey game this Johnsy went toe to
toe with the ref after the game, when the ref
told him to back off, Johnsy cried in a
braveheat fashion "I don't care
anymore!"
